The 2025 WRAMTA Regional Conference planning is well underway and we need
your help! We are looking for members who reside in Arizona to help with conference logistics, hospitality, and publicity/marketing.
Some of the duties include…
Logistics: checking in members at the beginning of the conference; delivering
instruments and materials to presenters for concurrent and CMTE sessions;
overseeing Auction; other duties/tasks as assigned by the Conference Chair.
Hospitality: develop local Tempe guide for general membership to use when
exploring city; monitor snacks and coffee stations for refill; other duties/tasks as
assigned by the Conference Chair
Publicity/Marketing: continued marketing of the conference activities including
CMTEs, opening, and closing sessions; general photography of conference activities; securing local and regional sponsors for the conference; creation of materials for conference promotions on social media platforms; other duties/tasks as assigned by the Conference Chair.
Conferences have been the foundation of community and engagement and would
not be possible without the help of volunteers. Should you have an interest in
volunteering for conference, please contact Kevin Alvarez at
wramta.vpelect@gmail.com and indicate how you would like to volunteer.
Thank you in advance for your time!

Call for Posters
The research poster session will be held on Saturday April 20th from 8:30 AM to 9:45 AM via Zoom.
The research poster session is a common forum for presenting original research at professional conferences. Typically consisting of a bulletin board or printed poster, it provides an opportunity to share important research findings or information to other professionals using a static, visual format. This poster session is open to all interested presenters, including: practicing and non-practicing music therapists; music therapy undergraduate and graduate students; music therapy interns; and other allied-
health or educational professionals with an interest in music-related research.
With this year’s conference being virtual, the format for our Research Poster Session will look different than it has in previous years, but we are very excited to still be able to offer this opportunity.
This year the research poster session will be held on Saturday, April 20th from 8:30 AM to 9:45 AM via Zoom and will give participants an opportunity to interact with the researchers. If your proposal is accepted, you will submit a PDF of your poster and a 5-min summary video no later than Apr. 10th. These materials will be uploaded to
the WRAMTA conference website for attendees to watch/read throughout the Virtual Summit. You will have the chance to discuss your findings with attendees in breakout rooms during the Zoom session.

Sponsors
Your support goes a long way toward helping us build and sustain a vibrant conference program, for 2025 and for years to come. There are four ways to support us:
Sponsors are visually represented and recognized on materials throughout the conference.
Advertisers can reach our attendees before, during, and after the conference through our mobile and web channels.
Exhibitors will have a dedicated space to work with during the conference, where you can sell your products or services directly to participants.
Contributors will receive special recognition for their donations.
Because WRAMTA is a 501(c)(3) organization, a portion of your contributions may be tax deductible.
We look forward to working with you collaboratively to target your advertising and marketing efforts toward music therapists and other professionals as part of the 2025 conference in Tempe, AZ.

Conference Policies
Conference Code of Conduct
The American Music Therapy Association expects that all AMTA annual conference attendees will promote a safe and ethical environment along with a culture of civility and kindness, treating all with dignity and respect. Harassment, bullying, or discrimination of any kind is not tolerated. Please use professional behavior with all – including friends, colleagues, volunteers, conference attendees, guests, hotel staff, and anyone you come into contact with, so that everyone can enjoy this conference to the fullest extent possible. Volunteers and staff work hard to ensure everyone has a positive conference experience. Attendees at the AMTA conference should expect to hold to a professional code of conduct that is consistent with the AMTA Code of Ethics and represent the music therapy profession in a positive light. Attendees should be prepared to adhere to directions and signs provided for safety concerns, respect open and closed special events or sessions, follow CBMT guidelines for earning CMTE credits, and participate as outlined in special events run by volunteers and staff, etc. Remember that special guests, clients, students, and others not affiliated with the conference may be in the hotel and their perception of the music therapy profession is affected by the way music therapists present themselves. AMTA reserves the right to remove anyone found not in compliance with the Code of Conduct.
Photo/Media Release
During the course of this conference you may be photographed by WRAMTA members and official photographers as a result of your participation in conference activities. These photographs may be used by WRAMTA in the course of promoting future conferences or association activities. You will not be compensated for the use of your photograph.
